She stared out the window of her room, wondering why that part of the hospital had bars across the windows.
'Is it to keep people in or out?', she mumbled to herself.
Sometimes at night, she heard cries and moans echo in the darkness.
When she asked the nurse, she was told not to worry about the noises.
'You just concentrate on getting well'
She couldn't wait to leave....
