She placed her ID card near the scanner. The red light flickered - no repsonse.
'What is going on' she muttered loudly.
She tried again - no response.
'Grrr!'
People walking past looked at her like she was trying to break into the building.
'My card isn't working' she said, waving the swipe card in the air.
